Louisiana?s Ragin? Cajun men?s basketball team will be looking to keep their early season record spotless on Friday evening, when coach Bob Marlin?s squad travels to Houston, Texas to take on the Texas Southern Tigers, in non-conference action, in the opening game of a two-game road swing.
Louisiana defeated Oakland, 90-79, in their season opener last Sunday, while Texas Southern lost to Northwestern, 79-49, on Tuesday, dropping the Tigers to 0-2.
The Cajuns are led by juniors Bryant Mbamalu and Eldridge Moore, who are both averaging 15 points a game, while the Tigers are paced by junior guard Raymond Penn, who is averaging 19 points per contest.
Tip-off time is schedule for 7 o?clock.
