treasure planet battle at procyon RP

Funny how ones childhood can make you so attached to something ;)

Well I was sorting out my stuff since i am moving at the moment when i came across an old booklet for a game called treasure planet battle at procyon. The game itself was released on 2002 and was about Jim Hawkins naval career five years after the events of treasure planet, it was a strategy game which fielded a unique 3D atmosphere which for the time and even today was both spectacular and special. Basically the game revolved around ships powered by solar energy ; in the story Jim gains new ships as the game progresses over 12 levels and in time forms his own fleet (assuming those ships do not get destroyed) the game also had skirmish modes in which one could customize his fleet but this is irrelevant for this discussion.

So after finding this old manual i decided to once again return to the game even if my old disc was heavily scared after 10 years of life i am amazed that i still enjoy this game so much and still consider it the best space ship strategy game i have ever played.

My idea is a ship/space-station role play; essentially the setting is a 18th century theme in space and i would suggest one watch the film in order to better understand the setting. My idea for the role play is very different from the tone of the film but its the best way to get acquainted with the idea.

any thoughts?
